How many Democrats believe Gov. Palin was part of the Alaska Independence Party?

I'm trying to see just how gullible Democrats are. A lot of Democrats seem to believe that Sarah Palin was part of the Alaska Independence Party, which calls for Alaska to secede from the Union. They believe this based on some radical blogs despite the fact that Governor Palin provided her voter registration records which show she's been Republican and nothing but Republican since she turned 18....and despite the fact that a video released on YouTube shows her calling the AIP "the competition." So I want to see how gullible Democrats are. Please tell me if you still believe this nonsense.
