Why are the Democrats allowing the Bush tax cuts to wither on the vine till after their vacation?

They are doing this because most know that these are the tax cuts that stimulate the economy. Most of the people that these cuts effect are the small business owners that file on personal income tax forms and also create over 70% of the jobs in the US. The Dems would have to vote on this and just like the vote to adjourn many Dems would vote to extend. These are the ones that need the votes of the people that are actually informed. This also allows the Dems to campaign nationwide to the ignorant among us on wealth envy. They have already lost the vote of the ones who know what this means so no harm no foul and they can still cater to the uninformed mes that they will keep bilking the "rich who don't pay their fair share". Nothing but a campaign ploy.
