I need help with my homework?

I want to know your opinion about surrealists and subconscious. There is three question that I have to answer and I want to know what would be your answer to those question. The question are in you opinion what can we learn from the artwork of the surrealists? What can we learn from our own subconscious and our own dream world? why must we, as artists-as humans- know about the disorganized, illogical, dream like subconscious?
