How should i get rid of my Fender Squire?

Hey my first guitar was a fender Squire "Bullet Strat" and now that i'm older i realize how retarded they are. I want to make a little money off it by selling it to a kid who's just starting that can actually use it. Would it be worth it to buy new Seymour Duncan hot rails pickups and a new bridge if i sold it online? I paid nothing for the guitar so i'll be happy if i get just a little more than i paid for all the extras. Any thoughts?
