Did Bruce Lee really injure Chuck Norris in "Way of The Dragon 1973" seriously?

Chuck Norris said in his interview 30 years later that he was knocked down with black & blue in his face & eyes during the legendary set in Colloseum Rome ....It�s hard to believe it ! any one knows better about it ? help please !!
