How to replace the alternator on a 1999 Infiniti I30?

I have a 1999 Infiniti I30 on which I need to replace the alternator. I have a Chilton's manual for the engine, but I honestly have no idea what I am doing. Where is the alternator located, and what are the steps that I need to do to replace it?
